What information does ChildCare.pk collect?
When you use ChildCare.pk, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide to us. Depending on the service you request, this may include:
- Parent or guardian name and contact details
- Child's name or initials and age/date of birth
- Gender, where relevant to medical care
- WhatsApp number required for consultation
- General location or city
- Symptoms and health concerns
- Relevant medical history provided by you
- Medicines or treatments you tell the doctor about
- Medical reports, photographs, or other documents voluntarily provided
- Payment or transaction information necessary to confirm a consultation
You are encouraged to provide only information that is relevant to the child's healthcare needs.
Are WhatsApp consultations secure and private?
Yes. A key part of our privacy model is that consultations are conducted face-to-face through secured WhatsApp communication.
When you request an online consultation, ChildCare.pk facilitates communication between you and the relevant child specialist using WhatsApp. The consultation itself takes place privately between the patient/parent or guardian and the healthcare professional.
Because WhatsApp is an independent communication service, its own privacy policy and security practices may also apply to communications conducted through WhatsApp.
ChildCare.pk does not use consultation conversations for advertising, marketing, profiling, or selling healthcare-related information.
Does ChildCare.pk sell my child's medical data?
No. Never. ChildCare.pk does not sell, rent, trade, or commercially exploit your personal or medical information.
We do not sell patient information to advertisers, pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, medical suppliers, insurance companies, marketing companies, data brokers, or other commercial organizations.
We do not provide your child's medical information to pharmacy companies for promotional purposes.
Your consultation is for healthcare purposes—not for creating a marketing profile.
Does ChildCare.pk share data with third parties?
No, not for commercial purposes. We do not share your personal information or consultation information with third parties for their own advertising, marketing, pharmaceutical promotion, pharmacy promotion, or commercial profiling.
We will not use your child's health information to send you targeted advertisements for medicines, supplements, pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, or other healthcare products.
Where a service provider is technically necessary to operate a part of our website or payment process, information may be processed only to the extent reasonably necessary for that specific service. Such providers are not authorized to use your personal information for their own marketing purposes.
How long does ChildCare.pk keep my consultation data?
7 days maximum. ChildCare.pk follows a maximum 7-day retention principle for consultation-related information held by us.
Information collected or received for the purpose of arranging or supporting a consultation is intended to be retained for no longer than 7 days, unless a longer retention period is legally required or technically unavoidable for a specific transaction or security purpose.
After the applicable retention period, information is deleted or securely disposed of from systems under our control, subject to reasonable technical backups or legal obligations that may temporarily prevent immediate deletion.
We do not intend to build permanent medical profiles of children for marketing or commercial purposes.
How does ChildCare.pk handle medical information?
Medical information provided during a consultation is intended to help the healthcare professional understand the child's condition and provide appropriate medical guidance.
ChildCare.pk does not use a child's medical information to make advertising decisions.
Parents and guardians should understand that the doctor or healthcare professional providing medical advice may have professional and legal obligations relating to medical records and clinical care. Such obligations may apply independently of ChildCare.pk's own data-retention practices.
What about payments and financial information?
If you pay for a consultation, certain information may be required to process or verify the payment.
ChildCare.pk does not need access to unnecessary financial information. Where payment processing is handled through an external payment provider, that provider may process payment information under its own privacy and security policies.
We do not sell payment information or use it for pharmaceutical or advertising purposes.
